Membership

IMS membership offers you information and specialized resources, professional development opportunities and valuable networking. Join several hundreds of professionals, students, and industries worldwide who will make IMS their resource for research and development in the field of mycorrhiza.

IMS offers four membership categories, each offering a wide range of benefits.

IMS membership is annual, renewable in April of each year. If you join or renew your membership at any time during the year, you will become a member for that year. Renewal information is sent to Members each December, at which time the fees for the following year are posted. Membership dues and journal subscription fees can now be paid by secure online credit card transaction. All fees are in $USD.

Individual Membership

Individual Membership (regular/fellow/retired) comprises a global community interested or involved in the research and development of mycorrhizae, one of the most exciting plant symbiosis of the world. It includes researchers, scientists, technicians, managers, engaged in works and projects on mycorrhizae and also simply individuals fascinated by plant symbiosis.

Student Membership

Student Membership comprises all officially registered college and university students from all levels up to post-doc fellows. Official proof of studentship is required to join in this category.

In addition to the individual membership category advantages student members have:

  • Eligibility for IMS travel fellowships
  • Eligibility for the Harley Medal for the best ICOM student presentation
  • Eligibility for Australia award
  • Access to IMS employment resources and eventual job fairs at ICOM and other meetings

Student Membership dues: 25$USD per year.

Corporate Membership / MCRC

Corporate members are comprised of, but not limited to, companies or legal entities that are involved in the development, manufacturing, production, blending and commercialization of mycorrhizal-based products and technologies.

Corporate membership dues: 250$USD per year (including 2 company members).

Lifetime Membership

For the first year following the foundation of IMS at ICOM5 Granada Spain, a lifetime membership is offered to individuals wishing to tangibly support the new society. All advantages of individual membership are included in this member catagory.

Lifetime membership dues: 500$USD (one-time).
